My independent research is driven by a deep fascination with how the universe's most basic building blocks evolved into the complex organic molecules that form the basis for life. Combining interests in astronomy and chemistry, this work connects the cosmic with the terrestrial, using the W3(OH) space cloud as a central case study. 

The discovery of complex organic molecules (COMs) far from Earth, particularly in the W3(OH) alcohol cloud, challenges the notion that such complex chemistry is exclusive to our planet. It suggests a universal potential for prebiotic chemistry and prompts intriguing questions about the interstellar contributions to life's origins.
